new lgbtq+ youth homelessness research study

We are looking for young people and organisations to take part in our new LGBTQ+ youth homelessness research study. The research will be used to improve the lives of LGBTQ+ young people experiencing homelessness or housing issues.

Minutes

akt, the UK’s only LGBTQ+ youth homeless charity, are working with a research team, that wants to better understand the impact of current housing crisis in the UK on young people, with a focus on experiences of homelessness LGBTQ+ people aged between 16-25.

The research will be used to influence the government and other decision-makers with the aim to improve the experiences of LGBTQ+ people aged between 16-25. The project is funded by akt and is carried out by the University of Kent, University of Bristol, and University of Southampton.

Doing so, we are speaking with people aged between 16-25 and individuals working in the housing and homelessness sector, and we need your help!

How long? The questions should take around 15 minutes.

Safety? The information you share with us will be anonymised and kept confidential according to GDPR regulations. The information will be used for research reports, media outputs and other publications if you agree to this.

Contact: For any questions about the research contact our project lead Dr Carin Tunåker, C.Tunaker@kent.ac.uk.
