akt would like to take the time to spotlight and celebrate bisexual people and address the issues they face.
Young LGBTQ+ people who are homeless are often faced with many challenges in securing housing or accommodation which meets their needs. We work with many young people who have disabilities, and we aim to provide support and advice to those young people in searching for and securing housing which is safe and accessible.
For International day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia, akt would like to spotlight the resources available to those taking a stand against sexuality and gender-based hate crimes.
Agender is an umbrella term that can cover a number of different identities. Agender people sometimes find that they are left out of public conversations around the LGBTQ+ community.
The non-binary umbrella describes those whose gender identity falls outside of the traditional gender binary. Non-binary identities are diverse, and can include people who identify with some aspects of binary identities, and others who reject them entirely.
