campaign: plan for the 136k

Sign our petition and call on the UK government to create a plan for the 136,000 homeless young people in the UK.

Minutes

136,000 young people in the UK are homeless. 24% of those are LGBTQ+, made homeless by rejection or abuse from family.

The #PlanForThe136k campaign calls on the UK Government to create a national strategy to end youth homelessness. Will you add your voice, too?

akt believes that young people deserve safety, housing and support to reach their full potential in life. We have joined 120 other youth organisations calling for a Plan for the 136,000 homeless UK youth.

Right now our services are as busy as when COVID was at its height. In London, requests for help have doubled. Please help us find a long-term solution to this crisis, by urging the government to focus their efforts on developing a national strategy.
