Earlier this week, akt submitted its response to the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) consultation on proposed changes to its code of practice, following the Supreme Court ruling in April. Understanding and responding to the consultation has been a challenge for a small, very busy charity like akt, especially at a time when demand for our support remains sky high. But from the outset, we knew we wanted the EHRC to listen closely to the voices and experiences of the young people that akt supports.
