the proud trust

The Proud Trust helps LGBT+ young people empower themselves, to make a positive change for themselves, and their communities. They do this through youth groups, coordinating national and regional LGBT+ youth work networks, managing the LGBT+ Centre for Manchester, delivering of training, running events and campaigns, undertaking research and creating resources. Every group is different, but mostly they are a chance to meet people, to chat, to learn new skills and to have fun. If you’re feeling a little nervous about coming along or you’re unsure of the area, you can contact them to arrange for a peer supporter, volunteer or staff member to meet you.
