LGBT History Month is a month-long annual observance of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender history, and the history of the gay rights and related civil rights movements.

Now in its 14th year the launch event occurs annually in different cities across the UK to inspire organisations and communities how to celebrate LGBT Culture. Each year has a different theme to work with from the school curriculum, which is led by the organisation ‘Schools OUT UK’, and strives to claim and celebrate LGBT history, which has been rendered invisible by our legal and educational systems.

To mark LGBT History Month, in February 2018 AKT is planning to visit 50 schools and Universities across the UK to raise awareness of our digital support service, inter-AKT.

If you want your school or university to be visited by us or you want to personally deliver our presentation in your school or university please contact us.
