The Albert Kennedy Trust supports lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans homeless young people in crisis. Every day we deal with the effects homelessness can have on young people's lives. We have service centres in London, Manchester and Newcastle.

Tasks and Responsibilities

In this role you will support the office with important administrative tasks including but not limited to; printing, filing, letter writing, organising and data input.

Volunteers should meet the following criteria

  • Ability to communicate confidently and clearly with young people, other volunteers and members of staff
  • Understanding of the issues – practical and emotional – facing young homeless people
  • Competency using Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel

Support for Volunteers

Volunteers receive the following support throughout their volunteering:

  • Structured induction and training 
  • Ongoing support from your supervisor
  • Access to further training
  • Travel and other reasonable expenses reimbursed
