Penguin Pride are kindly donating £1 from each ticket sold at their Penguin Pride events in London, Manchester and Brighton!

The series of events, taking place throughout Pride season, celebrate LGBTQ+ talent and shine a light on new voices in the community. The amazing lineup includes poets, writers, musicians and activists.

The next Penguin Pride event is in London: "Penguin Books in partnership with Gay Times returns to London this summer for Penguin Pride, a celebration of queer talent hosted at Cargo in Shoreditch by award-winning poet and playwright Toby Campion.

This multi-arts festival-style event will showcase published authors alongside writers, poets and musicians on the rise in what promises to be an un-missable moment in the Pride calendar.

Names on the bill include poets Jay Bernard and Dizraeli, writer Matthew Todd and musician Kal Lavelle."

Penguin Pride have also kindly invited AKT’s AKT Now Young Writer’s Group to attend the festival, who will no doubt gain inspiration and insight into the world of LGBTQ+ literature.
