Background and summary

akt are funding a fixed 12-month term pilot project in Bristol and the south west of England hosted and delivered in partnership with OTR and their LGBTQ+ service ‘Freedom’ and 1625 Independent People. The project will identify need and deliver support to LGBTQ+ young people at risk of homelessness in Bristol and South West England.  

We require an evaluator to report on the effectiveness of the processes undertaken by akt in the research and the piloting of projects in Bristol.

What we are looking for:

You will have experience of working in the voluntary sector and have a good track record in working with a variety of stakeholders in particular within the context of young people’s support services.

You will have experience in using and developing effective evaluation tools and methodologies as well as creative ways of capturing qualitative evaluation.

The fee for this work is £2000 for we which we will expect in the region of 8 days work.

This is a freelance role so you will be required to work remotely. Please note the fee includes all travel expenses, so close proximity to Bristol is preferred.
