From our new service centre which will provide a safe and better space to support young people at risk of homelessness to the return of our purple door housing project in the region which will help prevent homelessness by providing safe homes to the rising number of young people we are supporting. I am so very proud of the akt team of staff, volunteers and trustees who continue to passionately contribute to ensuring we provide safe homes and better futures for greater Manchester’s lgbtq+ young people - making sure they get the start in life they deserve." - Tim, akt CEO akt in Greater Manchester supports LGBTQ+ young people (16-25) who are homeless or living in a hostile environment. akt was founded in Manchester in 1989, and we’re so proud to call it our home.
