Referrals
"The Albert Kennedy Trust has brought the problems faced by gay and lesbian youngsters into sharp relief. I am deeply impressed by their commitment and concern for the welfare of these young people." - M.T. Head, The Children's Society.
The Albert Kennedy Trust accepts referrals from any source although the method for dealing with referrals may vary depending upon that source.
The Trust recognises that many young people have been assessed & referred to, from and by many different services and so in a wish not to duplicate and unnecessarily formalise the process does not have a set referral procedure. We rely heavily on the honesty of young people and referrers in their ability to share appropriate information with us.
We do however complete a simple referral front sheet for recording purposes.
