Albert Kennedy Trust has 20 years experience of providing housing, support, advocacy and mentoring services to LGBT young people who are homeless or living in a hostile environment.
Our supported lodgings programme has been recognised by the Department of Communities and Local Government’s Youth Homelessness Network website and by Shelter as a model of best practice. AKT is also a registered provider of supported lodgings across North West England and holds accredited provider status from the Mentoring & Befriending Foundation.
We are a highly skilled and experienced group of professionals from a variety of backgrounds and specialisms including the fields of social work; youth work; fundraising; foster care; finance and education.
We can offer Public, Private and Voluntary sector organisations training and consultancy in:
