Make a Gift in Your Will
| "When I was 16 I told my father I was gay. He reacted by threatening me with a knife then throwing me out of my home. The police and social services got involved and I was I ended up alone in a bed and breakfast. That's when I got in touch with AKT and they placed me with foster carers David and Roy. I have started to deal with what had happened, gone back to college and found a part-time job. I now have my own place, a group of new friends and have started seeing my mother again - who is now very supportive of me". - Roberto (now aged 26) |
