Helping End Youth Homelessness
| ".my mum didn't really want me. as I became aware of my sexuality she bullied me more. I did really badly at school. That's when I found out about The Albert Kennedy trust. My placement (with an AKT foster carer) was very positive; I learnt a lot about myself and my sexuality. It was like living with my parents except they were gay - they would sit me down and talk to me about my lifestyle, my sexuality and anything else" - Jennifer (now aged 19) |
